Carob "Chocolate milk"



Carob "Chocolate Milk"
Serves 1

1 cup fresh almond milk
1 tsp agave
1 TBSP carob powder
a drop of vanilla extract

Mix all the wet ingredients together.  Place carob powder in a saucepan and add almond milk, whisking the whole time.  Whisk until smooth and no lumps (carob powder mixes a whole lot easier than cocoa powder which usually leaves lumps).  Heat over medium heat until hot, stirring the whole time to prevent milk from burning and changing the taste.

Delicious on a gloomy day like today :)  I think this will replace my morning coffee from now on!
